Introduction
Designed to stamp and apply an automatically readable discount validations on magnetic stripe parking tickets. The applied discount validation is electronically recognized by APP3400 Fee Computers and APP3800 Pay Stations. The appropriate validation amount is automatically deducted from the parking fee due.
APP3310 eliminates the human error factor when a parking garage utilizes a multiple merchant validations system. Merchants validations billing and auditing process is fast and accurate with APP3310 in use. No more upset customers because of a missed or incorrectly applied validation, no more extra management auditing time looking for possible operator errors – just fast and accurate discount validation processing.

• Nonvolatile non-resettable electronic counter for the total number of validations applied since the unit is put in service. This counter does not reset if the unit is reprogrammed.
• Second nonvolatile counter for the current discount validation in use. This number resets every time the unit is reprogrammed to apply a new validation.
• Easy installation at the merchant location – needs only available power outlet. Can be installed practically anywhere.
• Safe low level 24VDC voltage operation. Possible battery operation for outdoor events use.

Options

• Up to 5 (five) validation selection buttons for applying a total of six different validations per unit. For example 1 hour validation, 2 hours validation, etc.

Functional Description
APP3310 is installed at the merchant's location – retail or grocery store, restaurant, movie theater, building or hotel lobby, etc. The operator simply inserts the parking ticket in to the slot. APP3310 automatically takes the ticket, reads it and applies the proper validation code. Up to three validations can be programmed per ticket if this is allowed by the configuration. The device provides visual and audio signalization in case one of the following occurs:

• A ticket does not match the preprogrammed configuration.
• All three validation spaces are already taken - no room for additional validation.
• A ticket already has the same validation code applied.
• A non readable ticket was inserted - the unit just stamps the ticket if this is allowed by the configuration.
