Introduction
Designed to work with tickets processed by APP3400 Fee Computers or APP3800 Pay Stations, APP3200 is located at the unattended exits of the parking facility. With its innovative design, the APP 3200 is capable of processing transient magnetic stripe tickets, magnetic stripe access cards, contact less access cards, IC smart cards, RF access tags and credit cards. APP 3200 verifies whether the patron has paid within the allowed exit time period, then opens the exit gate. Optional credit card payment processing for unpaid or overstayed tickets. APP3200 supports the industry standard Ethernet TCP/IP communication which allows seamless integration in any type of small or enterprise network including wireless and Internet connectivity.

Functional Description

Ticket Accepting
APP3200 electronically reads tickets processed by the APP3400 Fee Computers or APP3800 Pay Stations. Upon approaching the APP 3200 exit station the patron is provided with on-screen and audio instructions. The ticket acceptance slot is illuminated and flashes while the machine is waiting for a ticket to be inserted. After the patron inserts the ticket in the slot, APP 3200 verifies whether the ticket is paid in the allowed time period between payment and exit. If all conditions are met, the APP3200 vends the garage exit gate. In case of an unpaid or damaged ticket, the patron is provided with clear visual and voice instructions how to proceed, minimizing traffic congestions. In online mode the accepted ticket information is instantly reported to the APP 3900 parking management server.

Ticket Recall
As a part of the APP 3000 system, the APP 3200 Exit Station automatically recognizes all recalled tickets, eliminating illegal use of back-out or stolen tickets when credit card payments are accepted at the exit.

Credit Card Processing
APP 3200 supports ticket-less credit card in/credit card out capability or ticket processing with credit card payment. In both cases the patron is provided with automatic or by demand receipt.

Integration
The Ethernet TCP/IP communication allows integrating APP3200 in existing small or enterprise networks, including wireless and Internet, which tremendously reduces operational and management cost.

Remote Programming
All station’s parameters are fully online programmable including voice messages upload and software update. This allows greater flexibility and lowers the operational and maintenance cost. In case of Internet connection to the APP3000 system, remote access eliminates the need of field trips to collect data or change the configuration.

Ticket Transport Mechanism
Parking ticket and card capture capability. Capable of reading an writing ISO1, ISO2 and ISO3 magnetic tracks from 75 to 210 bpi; low, medium or high coercivity.

Video Monitoring
With an optional camera installed, each transaction is mapped to a picture snapshot providing valuable information when needed. The camera can also be used for 24h surveillance purposes eliminating the need of costly coaxial cabling through the entire parking facility. In case of an Internet connection to the APP3900 server the video is also transmitted over the Internet.

Real time speech synthesis and audio playback
APP3200 provides the patron with audio instructions during normal operation or in case of unusual events. APP3200 supports real time speech synthesis and can play text messages distributed by the system server. This makes possible playing custom messages for a particular patron. For example – saying a monthly patron's name when entering/exiting the garage, reminding the monthly patron when a payment due is coming, etc. Such features dramatically improve the garage appearance and put a personal touch in the patrons' overall parking experience.

Access Card System Integration

• No limit for the number of cardholders or a maximum physical card number.
• All industry standard proximity card formats are supported and can coexist in a common access system.

• Carpool/group parking with different restriction criteria – maximum number of vehicles in the garage, group time restriction criteria, group security access criteria, etc.
